What if we could clean waste water with corn cobs? | Lalita Prasida | TEDxVienna
How an Indian Grade IX Student and her Science Teacher came up with an ingenious way of water purification- This project aims to clean impure water by using an agricultural waste, using one waste to counter another. Corn cobs can be the next big thing in the Water Purification scenario.
Lalita is 14 years old and lives in Damanjodi, India. She came to know about the low utilization of corncobs, which inspired her to find ways to use this agricultural waste. She recently won the Scientific American’s Community Impact Award at the prestigious Google Science Fair.
