William Noel: Revealing the lost codex of Archimedes

The lost words, a (re-)found noble cause and the future of the web. How ancient Data can inspire us on how to deal with Data today. Sometimes the obvious is hidden and reading between the lines can include a physicist, a mathematician, a curator, a data manager and finally a particle accelerator from Stanford. Well, such a crew defintely would be able to stretch the lines and make the hidden obvious. The old wisdom of ancient greek mathematician Archimedes, should be heard and read by everyone who wants to, so William Noel. He is a curator who believes museums should make their collections free and available on the Internet. Data should be free and accessible, quiet a good credo we are familiar with from TED.
